Meck Events, LLC, doing business as Southwest Florida Circus Company (“Southwest Florida Circus Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you may have when you visit https://swflcircus.com, submit an inquiry, request or accept a proposal, make a payment, use a client or performer portal, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Information You Provide

  • Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, event address, and other contact information.
  • Event information, including the date, time, venue, event type, guest count, requested entertainment, budget, and other details you include with an inquiry.
  • Proposal, contract, booking, invoice, payment, refund, and transaction information.
  • Messages, questions, feedback, reviews, survey responses, uploaded files, photographs, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Client-portal, performer-portal, referral-program, insurance-certificate, and customer-support information.
  • Communication preferences, including records of consent to receive email or text messages and records of opt-out requests.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We may receive limited transaction information, such as payment status, amount, date, payment method type, and the last four digits of a card. We do not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on our systems.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

  • Internet Protocol address.
  • Browser, device, and operating-system information.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and approximate location derived from an IP address.
  • Dates, times, and duration of visits.
  • Cookie identifiers and similar technical information.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and recommend appropriate entertainment or event services.
  • Prepare, deliver, manage, and follow up on proposals and quotes.
  • Confirm, coordinate, perform, modify, postpone, or cancel bookings and events.
  • Create and manage contracts, invoices, payments, refunds, and account records.
  • Provide client portals, performer portals, referral programs, job opportunities, files, photographs, and customer support.
  • Communicate about inquiries, proposals, bookings, payments, schedules, performers, venues, safety requirements, insurance documents, and event updates.
  • Send promotional email or text messages only when you have separately consented to receive them or when otherwise permitted by applicable law.
  • Maintain consent, communication, and opt-out records.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve our website, systems, communications, and Services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and policies.

We will not use your mobile number or SMS consent to send unrelated marketing messages unless you have separately and expressly opted in to receive such messages.

3. SMS and Mobile Communications

If you enter your mobile phone number through an inquiry or booking form and affirmatively select the SMS consent checkbox, Southwest Florida Circus Company may send you transactional and customer-care text messages concerning your inquiry, proposal, booking, payments, and event updates.

  • Message frequency varies according to your inquiry and booking activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@swflcircus.com.

After an opt-out request, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. We may continue communicating through non-SMS methods when necessary to administer an existing contract, booking, or payment.

Mobile information will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide mobile information to communications service providers solely as necessary to transmit messages, maintain consent and opt-out records, prevent fraud, and operate our communications systems. Those providers may not use that information for their own marketing.

4. Email Communications

We may send operational emails concerning your inquiry, proposal, booking, payment, event, account, or requested support. If you separately subscribe to promotional emails, you may unsubscribe through the link in an email or by contacting us. Even if you unsubscribe from promotional email, we may continue sending non-promotional messages needed to administer an inquiry, transaction, account, or booking.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website activity, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve our Services. Some cookies are necessary for website functionality, while others may support analytics or advertising.

You can adjust cookie choices through any cookie-consent controls available on our website and through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality. For additional details, please review our Cookies Policy.

We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to understand website usage. These providers process technical and usage information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. When We Disclose Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with affiliates or business partners for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We may use carefully selected providers to host our website and data, process payments, deliver email or SMS messages, provide analytics, store files, prevent fraud, support our software, or perform other services on our behalf. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide contracted services to us and are not authorized by us to use it for their own marketing.

Performers, Vendors, and Venues

When reasonably necessary to fulfill a requested booking, we may provide limited event and contact information to the assigned performer, event vendor, venue, insurer, or other party directly involved in delivering or coordinating the Services. We limit this disclosure to information reasonably necessary for the event, such as the event contact, location, schedule, access instructions, and performance requirements.

Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of our customers, performers, business, systems, or the public; investigate fraud or misuse; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transaction

If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all business assets, information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law. This provision does not authorize the use of mobile information or SMS consent for third-party marketing.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you specifically direct or authorize us to do so.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, manage inquiries and bookings, maintain business and financial records, document consent and opt-out requests, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect against fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected. We may retain transaction, contract, tax, accounting, insurance, safety, consent, and opt-out records for longer periods when reasonably necessary or legally required. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, software updates, backups, monitoring, and limiting access to people and providers who need the information for legitimate business purposes.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive payment-card information, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, text message, or open form fields.

  • Delete certain personal information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Provide certain information in a portable format.
  • Explain the categories of information collected, used, or disclosed.
  • Honor a withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

You may also:

  • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in promotional emails.
  • Adjust browser or cookie settings.
  • Contact us using the information below to submit a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be exempt from a request or retained when reasonably necessary to complete transactions, maintain required records, protect security, prevent fraud, exercise legal rights, or comply with law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and Services are intended for adults arranging events and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.

Event photographs or information involving minors will be handled according to applicable agreements, permissions, and law. Consent to receive operational SMS messages is separate from any consent concerning photography or promotional use of images.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not govern their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site or service you use.

We are based in Florida, United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required by applicable law, we will process personal information under an appropriate legal basis and honor applicable privacy rights.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
